Chip Repair

A chipped tooth doesn't just ruin a smile. It's often an easy avenue for cavities and infections, since a bit of the tooth's protective enamel has been removed — exposing more vulnerable material. A variety of procedures are used to treat chipped teeth. Bonding material, in a paste form, can be applied and shaped much like the putty used to repair a car dent.

Often, the quickest and simplest solution is application of a veneer. More severe damage will generally call for a crown. We will work with you to decide which option is best for you. Since chips most often occur on front teeth, the improvement to the smile is usually dramatic.
